Intelligent Fire Rated Technology

Ansell Lighting have launched a breakthrough fire rated downlight range.

iCage is Ansell's new and innovitave solution to the recurring problem of maintaining adequate fire rating in plasterboard ceilings whilst at the same time allowing the easy and cost-effective installation of contemporary downlighting solutions. iCage incorporates a unique 'Cool Cage' design that allows freedom of lamp choice for the installer and end user, when compared to more traditional 'can' type fire rated downlights.

Cool Innovative Design

Unique design features include:

  • intelligent thermal management for optimum lamp life
  • inclusive of GU10 and MR16 lampholders for freedom of lamp choice
  • integral spring-loaded lampholder for dedicated Part L energy compliance
  • incorporates Twistlock design throughout the range, including IP65 versions
  • installer friendly large loop-in, loop-out terminal housing
